I offer Dayton, Ohio-area historical research services such as house and building histories.
My in-depth knowledge of Dayton history resources coupled with my master’s in library and information science and 10+ years experience as an academic librarian allows me to answer your questions and uncover the stories you are interested in.

I utilize a wide variety of sources including deeds, other city and county records, historic maps, newspaper archives, neighborhood histories, and book sources from my personal collection as well as libraries across the state.
I have worked with historic homeowners, real estate agents, and individuals working on historic nominations and tax credit applications.
I collaborate with every client to tailor the project to their individual needs, and the final product can range from a general timeline to a more formally-designed report.
